Dear New Students,

Welcome to Chaoyang!

As you read this letter, you are about to begin a new and meaningful chapter in your life. University will bring excitement, challenges, opportunities, and growth. On behalf of the Chaoyang community, I warmly welcome you to our university family.

The next four years will be one of the most important periods in your personal and academic development. It will be a time to discover who you are, strengthen your abilities, build lasting friendships, and prepare for the future. Our faculty, staff, and current students are looking forward to welcoming you to campus. In the coming days, each department will provide important information to help you prepare for your studies and campus life.

As you begin your journey at Chaoyang, I would like to share three thoughts with you.

1. Embrace Change and Face the Future with Courage
   
   The world is changing faster than ever, and the ability to adapt has become essential. As university students, you will encounter new ideas, meet people from different backgrounds, and take part in a wide range of learning experiences. Along the way, you will also face choices, challenges, and moments of uncertainty.
   
   I encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone and approach change with confidence and an open mind. Do not be afraid to try, and do not let setbacks discourage you. Every attempt is a chance to learn, and every challenge can become an opportunity for growth.
    

2. Turn Learning into Future Strength
   
   The purpose of university education is not only to acquire knowledge, but also to learn how to apply that knowledge to real-world problems. Chaoyang offers a wide range of academic programs, learning resources, and practical opportunities, and I hope you will make full use of them.
   
   As you study here, continue to build your professional knowledge while also learning to connect ideas with action. Turn classroom learning into practical skills, creativity into innovation, ambition into effort, and a love of learning into a foundation for your future career.
    

3. Develop Your Potential and Create New Possibilities
   
   Each of you brings unique talents, strengths, and potential. University is the place where that potential can be discovered and developed. Set meaningful goals for yourself, take part in new experiences, and seek opportunities to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
    

When you face problems, be willing to think creatively and explore new solutions. As you look toward the future, remain curious, motivated, and open to what lies ahead. By continuing to develop your knowledge, skills, and character, you will be better prepared for a future of your own.

Your four years at Chaoyang will be a journey full of possibilities. I encourage you to make the most of this valuable time: embrace change with courage, turn learning into strength, continue to develop your potential, and share your experiences with those around you.
